Kevin Wooley

President



Kevin joined MAS Consultants in January of 2020 following five years at Project Enhancement Corporation where he served as the Executive Vice President of National Security and Intelligence Services. Kevin has extensive training, operations, and nuclear security experience to support clients within the DOE and NNSA.

He is an award-winning leader with broad experience directing training programs, large-scale exercises, and simulation to improve individual and group performance for civilian and government customers.

Prior to working at PEC, Kevin served for 26 years in the United States Marine Corps, retiring with the rank of Colonel. He holds a Master of Arts in National Security & Strategic Studies and a Master of Arts in Military Studies.

 
 

Michael A. Schoener

Principal Consultant



Mike has over 40 years of experience in the areas of management, facility operations, training, organizational development, and facilitation. He provides management consulting services for electric utilities, process industries, craft labor unions and government agencies.

Mike is the founder of MAS Consultants and led the firm for over 25 years building MAS Consultants into a highly reputable source of support within DOE for facility operations, training, human performance and the DOE Accident Investigation Program support. Mike has been involved in numerous assessments and reviews at a variety of commercial and DOE nuclear facilities over the past 35 years. These reviews have included operational readiness and management assessments. He has also been the manager of technical training at a commercial nuclear utility, and manager of training and procedures for the startup of a troubled DOE nuclear facility.

Mike has a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Bowling Green State University where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He served for six years in the United States Navy Nuclear Power Program.
